Today’s feature is by Robbie Mckennie and Shannon Denham who stumbled across a forgotten beauty in Hawkes Bay. Not a lick of paint is left on the exterior walls, the roof is caving in, and the brick fireplace looks to be strongest feature remaining in this abandoned farm house…

  1. Love these derelict houses too. I took some pics a couple of years ago while in chch. I have b/w images in my hall. Would love to see a book with these pics

  2. I grew up in Hawkes bay in the early 80s and remember this house really made an impression on me. I drove past the house again last year for the first time in say probably 20 years and was delighted to see it still standing.
