Lights Are On, But No One’s Home

Here is a legit looking 1950s house which has sadly been left derelict, but why?  What makes this house so uninhabitable?  There’s a colourful nursery in one bedroom and a parachute ceiling in another, people lovingly took the time to decorate it for their young family, and then abandoned it..?  The lights are burning bright 24/7 in the empty living areas, but a tenant-less power bill is a small price to pay compared to the land banking value for this slumlord…

  1. live literally just up the road from this house, might go check it out tomorrow. any recent activity at the house? and how close were the neighbors to the property? wouldn’t want to look too out of place

  2. oh wow!! I used to live a few houses down from this house!!! This was about 12years ago. There used to be a family that lived here and me and my siblings would play with their kids! The family ended up winning a huge amount of money in lotto. Don’t know what ever happened to them.
